Final conference HUMCORE project in Brussels
The Dante Alighieri Society is thrilled to announce the participation of its esteemed President, Gianluca Olcese, in the HUMCORE project meeting in Brussels. This event took place in April 8-9, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing collaboration between Dante Society in Wroclaw and the HUMCORE project consortium.
The HUMCORE project focuses on promoting humanitarian corridors and complementary programs throughout Europe, aiming to facilitate safe and legal transfers and promote social inclusion. The meeting in Brussels will serve as a platform to present the achievements and future goals of the project, combining in-person discussions with a hybrid format to maximize engagement.
As a representative of Dante Alighieri Society of Wrocław, one of the project's partners, president Olcese discussed the contributions of the Dante Society to the project. His speech highlighted the Society's commitment to humanitarian efforts and its role in fostering academic and cultural exchanges that support the project's objectives.
The final conference on April 9, open to the public, included testimonials, governmental insights, and academic perspectives on humanitarian efforts. The event was followed by various activities, including city tours and a visit to the Community of Sant'Egidio in Brussels.
This meeting was not just a testament to the Dante Society's active involvement in international humanitarian initiatives but also a chance to further our mission through global partnerships and shared goals. We invite all members and interested parties to engage with the results of this significant event and support our ongoing efforts to make a difference.
